About Run Like the Winded

Run Like the Winded JOIN US! The Tiny Footprints for Life 5K brings together runners, joggers, and walkers of all ages and athletic abilities to celebrate life. Together we will remember babies who have left this world too soon, and celebrate the babies who are NICU graduates.

Your support will help allow us to continue to support the UMass Memorial Medical Center NICU at the Children's Medical Center.

Why am I fundraising?

Run Like the Winded Each year, I participate in this fundraiser to honor the memory of my nephew's son, Liam Osborn Kenney who was born prematurely at 22 weeks on February 21, 2019 and was unable to survive.

Tiny Footprints for Life 5K raises money for equipment and services for the UMass Memorial NICU at the Children's Medical Center and for the annual Memorial Service hosted for families who experience a loss. In addition, it funds a newly established partnership with New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill where bereaved, current or former NICU families are able to visit the garden and our donated memorial bench, free of charge
